Show respect for your teacher
It has long been a tradition in Martial Arts to Bow to your instructor, before and after class or after the teacher had offered help or instruction to you individually. Did you know it is also customary to Bow (or Wai for Thai students) when you enter the school or greet your instructor? It is polite too acknowledge your instructor with a bow. It is a form of respect and gratitude for the relationship. Martial arts is as much about respect as it is about self-defense and technical skill.

We're now accepting applications for the "Dream Team" and "Hit Squad"
All Black Belt Club students green belt and above are eligible to become members of the "elite" Dream Team. As we know, Dream Team students receive advanced training in forms and weapons, as well as the experience of performing in our demonstrations. "Hit Squad" is a similar program to "Dream Team" but is only available to BBC students red belt and higher. Additionally, "Hit Squad" students are permitted to come to classes to assist the staff in facilitating classes. Some people say that the best way to learn the Martial Arts is to teach it. Therefore, this is a great way to improve your Martial Arts skills. Talk to Master Steve or Miss Linda for information on how to get involved.
